Edinburgh

While we were in Edinburgh, we went into
Starbuck's for coffee.Michael was like a fish
out of water. To him, coffee is coffee ! Not only
that, he didn't understand a simple question like,
"Do we bus our own cups back ?"

We couldn't go to Edinburgh and not visit the
castle. The highlight is seeing the crown jewels
of Scotland and the Stone of Destiny. Sadly, there
were no photographs allowed, so you will just have
to take our word for it.This was a stone slab where
the ancient kings used to be crowned. It was stolen
by the English(BOO,HISS!) and finally returned by
John Major as a cheap polital trick. Not that it did
him any good.

Grayfriars Bobby

This was a little dog that inspired a film by Walt Disney. The story goes that a little terrier dog was so heartbroken by his master's death that he came to his grave every day until his own death years later. The dog is buried in Grayfriars church beside his master.
