Isle of Skye

Yes, we are afraid the music to this page is the "Skye boat song"If you are going to use a cliche, why not hammer it to death, eh ?

We arrived on Skye via the new toll bridge, Michael nearly had a heart attack when he found out the toll was £5.70 one way ! We went straight to the local chip shop after finding somewhere to stay. What a shock that was too ! The chip shop had two computer terminals for surfing the web, they also rented out videos!

While we were on Skye, Michael was tempted ( coerced) into trying his first ever vegetarian meal. A far cry from his usual diet of black pudding, sausages and Barr's Irn-Bru. He kept on saying, "Mmm, not bad, this would go well with a fillet steak in a red wine sauce."Honestly, I could cheerfully have killed him !

Dunvegan Castle was in a wonderful situation, overlooking the sea, parts of it are about 800 years old.

Skye didn't escape the fiddler either.
We had a sail out to see the seals.

Is this a map? I'm lost !
