The last time I was in Inverness must have been about 26-27 years ago. It has grown a lot since then. In fact, it became a city just before we visited. It was amazing the ammount of tourists there, even in the middle of winter.Needless to say, Elaine found some really interesting shops<g> We did find one good shop, it had been an old church, and was now a bookshop. The stained glass windows were still in place together with the pulpit.It would have been just too easy to spend the afternoon there. Needless to say, Elaine just couldn't leave without buying something !
